Classically trained musician Zack Tyr has arrived on the Treasure Valley entertainment scene.

With a cover song list of over 500 songs and a number of original compositions, the experience is a journey down memory lane for the young and the young at heart. Enjoying a ZT OMB experience is like attending every concert you ever attended or yearned to attend. His artistry on lead guitar and vocals are spot on and not just lead guitar; Zack plays every instrument in his show along with performing all backup vocals.

Zack is Juilliard trained and a Berklee College of Music graduate classically trained musician. Fellow alumni from Berklee include Melissa Etheridge '80, John Mayer '98, Bruce Hornsby '74, Quincy Jones '51, Steve Vai '79 among a host of others.

Zack has been a part of a number of bands in the past including the opening act for the Scorpion World Tour. His focus, intent and commitment is such that he has simply outlasted his former band mates as they have moved on to other professions. Always a perfectionist and somewhat of a rolling stone, Zack decided the surest way to deliver a quality sound and show was to…do it himself. He began digitally recording all the music and vocal tracks in his repertoire himself. Lead guitar is Zack’s weapon of choice, but his skill with keyboards, piano, drums and bass are top rack. ZT OMB’s shows are complimented and completed with a concert quality sound system and a 120” HiDef Screen on which is displayed Zack on his various instruments and a host of visual imagery that enhances the visual impact of the show.

Zack was a guest performer at SMP Boise 2009 and will debut this Friday at Montego Bay starting at 5:00 PM and running until Wild 101.1 FM’s 9:00 Broadcast. It’s a family Event and Kids are welcome until 10PM. He is currrently booked Saturdays throughout the summer at Montego Bay.
